So I love love love to eat and I love love love beauty! So I decided to combine both for my 12 Days of Christmas and show you how I use the ingredients, my friend, Chef Jeff used to make this bomb sweet potato pie for a hair and face mask. Sweet potatoes has amazing benefits for both the skin, hair and the body. They are rich is beauty essential vitamins such as A, C, E, and K which help with are amazing antioxidants for the skin and aid in hair growth and skin. They contain anthocyanin which helps get rid of pigmentation and acts as anti-inflammatory and they also contain magnesium which is a great stress reducer to name a few. The video and both recipes are both are below but don't stop there. I also shared some other beauty hacks using the sweet potato boiled water!

Even MORE Ways to use Sweet Potatoes

  • Use the cooled water that the sweet potatoes boiled in as a toner for your skin.Keep in the refrigerator and spritz your face to clear clogged pores and keep your skin hydrated
  • Mix the boiled water from the sweet potatoes with raw brown sugar. Make a paste and use an exfoliate for your feet and elbows
  • Slice two thin sweet potatoes, freeze them and place them under your eyes. Sweet potatoes are rich in anthocyanin which help with puffiness and the cold temperature will temporarily reduce the appearance of dark circles
